SOUTHEAST CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
About Us
The Southeast Christian Academy was originally
sponsored by the Southeast Apostolic Mission. In
the spring of 1984, Mrs. Carolyn Johnson, M.A., was
appointed Administrator by Pastor Walter G. Webster.
The Academy opened in the fall of 1984, housed in
the educational wing of the church at 1505 East Deshler
Avenue.
Since the church facility could only accomodate 100
students, and enrollment increased beyond the capacity of the
church building, it was necessary to relocate the Academy
in the fall of 1993 to another location. The school moved to its
present location, 1500 Barnett Road, Columbus, Ohio,
in 2004.
Southeast was chartered by the State
of Ohio Department of Education in 1985. All staff members
are professionally trained for their positions. Teachers are certified by the State of Ohio
Department of Education.
